Dear Herb & Bobbie Samme,

I just wanted to say thank you for sending us this care package and all other ones you have been sending us.  I know it must take a lot of time and money to put together a package like this on a weekly basis.

I also want to say I’m sorry for the loss of your son, LCpl. Eric A. Palmisano,  because of brave me like him we live in the greatest country in the world.
